Mahindra Electric & Amazon Joint Venture | Deployed Treo Zor

Amazon India today announced its partnership with Mahindra Electric to strengthen electric mobility. As Amazon had already announced that it will have a fleet of delivery vehicles which will include 10,000 electric vehicles by 2025. Mahindra Treo is a revolutionary new range of electric autos, e-rickshaw and cargo version. Powered by the advanced Lithium-ion technology, Mahindra Treo offers higher savings, superior ride quality and best-in-class interior space.

 

 

Amazon with its delivery partners deployed the Mahindra Treo Zor vehicles in seven cities including Bengaluru, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Indore and Lucknow. The company claims that the inclusion of these vehicles in the fleet; compliments the Government of India's focus on electric mobility.

Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India said “Clean mobility powered by clean energy is an important element in the action to prevent climate change.
